West Blue Farm has been direct marketing farm fresh meat since 1990.  Chickens and beef are raised on the farm for our customers.  The beef has been raised from birth and the chickens are brought in at one day of age.  The alfalfa and oats in the feed has been grown organically on our farm since 1993.  The corn and soybean meal are purchased and are non-gmo.  Pork is also available.  Click on the menu to learn more about how we raise our animals.

West Blue Farm is located south of Milford Nebraska in northern Saline County in the valley of the West Blue River.  The farm is overseen by the West Blue Church, which sits at the top of the hill just north of the farm.  The farm was originally purchased by the Welsch family in 1892.  Dave and Deb Welsch are the current owner/operators.  The first member of the Welsch family to come to the area was Rev. J.P. Welsch who served as the first full time resident pastor of the West Blue Church in 1878.  The farm house that Dave and Deb live in is 105 years old.
